A big scheme for students has also been announced in the budget of Modi Government 3.0. Under this scheme, the government will help students in getting internships. It often happens that when students complete their studies, they have to wander a lot for internships.
After this, it takes a lot of time for them to get a job. That is why now under this internship program of the central government, students will be given many opportunities to do internship. But for this, some eligibility criteria have been set by the government. Only those students who fulfill them will get a chance to do internship. Government will give one crore students an internship
Recently, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget for the year 2024. In which she also announced a big scheme for the students. In the budget, the Finance Minister has announced to provide internships for 1 crore youth. Students will get an opportunity to do internship in different streams by about 500 big companies. A budget of Rs 1.48 lakh crore will also be released by the Government of India for this. To avail the internship program, students will have to fulfill some eligibility criteria.
These students will not get internship
In this internship program of the Government of India, some criteria have been made for the students. In which those students will not be given benefit. Those who have not done a full time course and whose age is less than 21 years or more than 24 years. So along with this, those students who have studied from IIT, IIM and IISER will also not get the benefit of this internship program.
And students who have CA or CMA degree will also not be able to take advantage of this scheme. If someone in the family of a student is in a government job or falls in the category of paying income tax, then such students will also not get the benefit of this program.
Government will give 5 thousand rupees
The students who will be selected under this government internship scheme, the government will give them 5 thousand rupees every month as stipend. Along with that, the government will give them 6 thousand rupees at once. This 5-year internship will have two phases, in which the first phase will be of 2 years and the second phase will be of 3 years.
